Day 1: Arrive Trivandrum
You arrive in Trivandrum by Domestic International flight. Trivandrum
the capital of Kerala. Located at the South Western tip of India, is
bounded by the Arabian Sea on the West and Tamil Nadu on the East.
After a traditional 'Swagat' (Welcome) our representative would meet
& assist you at the airport and you will be transferred to your
prearranged hotel for overnight stay.
Day 2: Trivandrum Breakfast at hotel followed by departure
for sightseeing tour of the city, Trivandrum is Famous for its long
shorelines with glorious beaches, historic monuments, backwater
stretches and a rich cultural heritage, Trivandrum undoubtedly makes an
ever-popular destination. We spend half a day here covering Padmanabha
Swamy Temple, Shri Chitra Art Gallery and the Museum. Overnight stay at
the hotel.
Day 3: Trivandrum - Periyar (120 Kms / 3hrs)
Morning drive to Periyar, Upon arrival we check in at our prearranged
hotel. Periyar is home to tigers, leopards, elephants, bison (gaur),
antelopes, sambhar, wild boar, money etc, and a wide of variety of
birds. Late afternoon at 1500 hrs we shall take you to a guided Spice
tour in one of the Spice Gardens / Plantations for which this region is
famous. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 4: Periyar
Early morning we take boat ride over the Lake Periyar to watch animals
in their natural habitat on the water's edge. While cruising on Lake
Periyar, you are likely to see animals like Wild Boars, Sambars, Wild
Dogs, Langur Monkeys and Wild Elephants. For the lunch we return back
to hotel. Late After noon we again visit the park by cruise, as once is not enough to explore it fully. Overnight stay at the hotel
Day 5: Periyar - Alleppey - Cochin
After breakfast at hotel depart for Cochin enroute Alleppey -one of
best place for nature and backwater lovers. After backwater drive to
Cochin - Cochin always had a very popular and historical sea trade
connection with Middle East, Mediterranean Europe, Dutch and British.
It has one of the finest natural harbors on the Arabian coastline. Its
cosmopolitan character is reflected in the buildings and structures
representing different regions of the world. It is one of the few
places in the world where one can see a Jewish synagogue, Portuguese
churches, architecture, mosques, temples and Chinese fishing nets, all
in one city. A city of peninsulas and islands, today it is Kerala's
commercial hub. Upon arrival we check in at our prearranged hotel for
overnight stay.
Day 6: Cochin
Today afternoon our guide will take you for a half day city tour of
Cochin, with visits to St. Francis' Church, Dutch Palace (Built by the
Portuguese), Jew Town, the Jewish Synagogue built in the year 1568,
spice market, where the air is filled with the pungent smell of spices,
and Chinese fishing nets. In the evening we see Kerala's most popular
classical dance, Kathakali. Overnight stay at the hotel
Day 7: Cochin - Ooty (300 km / 6 hrs)
After breakfast we leave for Ooty, better known as the queen of hill
stations. At a height of 2,240m, Ooty is loved for its salubrious
climate and scenic beauty. Upon arrival we check in at our prearranged
hotel for overnight stay.
Day 8: Ooty - Bandipur
Post breakfast we visits to Botanical Garden & Churches and later
we for Bandipur National Park. Upon arrival we check in at our
prearranged hotel for overnight stay.
Day 9: Bandipur
After an early breakfast time for an exciting jungle safari through the
865 sq.km. Bandipur, erstwhile private hunting grounds of the Maharaja
of Mysore. This sanctuary is one of the 15 in India, which run the
Tiger Conservation Project. It is also noted for massive herds of
Elephants, Indian Bison (Gaur), Spotted Deer, Sambhar, Sloth Bear, and
above all around 75 Tigers. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 10: Bandipur - Mysore (76 Kms / 2hrs)
Early morning drive to Mysore. On arrival we assist you to check in at
our Hotel. An evening trip to Brindavan Gardens, is next. Brindavan
Gardens attracts thousands of visitors everyday, especially to its
dancing musical fountains. Overnight stay.
Day 11: Mysore Once the capital of Wodeyar Kingdom and one of
the finest cities of south India, Mysore is a small and easygoing
Sandalwood country and a crafts crazy city. We take a full day tour of
Mysore with visits to Srirangapatnam and Tipu's Summer Palace, the
Maharaja's Palace and Chamundi Hill, which is topped with a 12th
century temple of Durga with the magnificent 5m tall Nandi. Carved from
a single piece of granite in year 1659, it is one of the largest in
India. Overnight stay
Day 12: Mysore - Bangalore (135 Kms / 3 hrs)
After breakfast depart for Bangalore one of the modern metropolis city
of India. Full day free for your independent activities. Overnight stay
at hotel.
Day 13: Bangalore
Awaiting us is a half-day sightseeing tour of Bangalore, well known for
its multifaceted modern marvels, historical monuments, busting shopping
plazas, a racecourse and golf courses. It is also called the Silicon
Valley of India for its burgeoning Software Industry. The tour would
include Tipu Sultan's Palace, one of the most remarkable Islamic
buildings of the city, now a museum, ISKCON Temple and Lal Bagh Garden.
Overnight stay.
Day 14: Bangalore (Departure)
